Psalm 87:7 (King James Version) As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.

Psalm 87:1-7 (King James Version)
1His foundation is in the holy mountains.
2The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
3Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.
4I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.
5And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.
6The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.
7As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.

Yes, Lord. As well as the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.

Thank God for all the singers, musicians, players on instruments and minstrels in the world...wherever they may be.

Thank God for Jason Upton.

Speaking to yourselves in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs.

"Raise up an army....like Joel saw"....lyrics from the song "Lion of Judah" by Jason Upton from the album "Between Earth and Sky".

2 Kings 3:11-20 (King James Version)
11But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may enquire of the LORD by him? And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah.
12And Jehoshaphat said, The word of the LORD is with him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.
13And Elisha said unto the king of Israel, What have I to do with thee? get thee to the prophets of thy father, and to the prophets of thy mother. And the king of Israel said unto him, Nay: for the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab.
14And Elisha said, As the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look toward thee, nor see thee.
15But now bring me a minstrel.
And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him.
16And he said, Thus saith the LORD,
Make this valley full of ditches.

17For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.
18And this is but a light thing in the sight of the LORD: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hand.
19And ye shall smite every fenced city, and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all wells of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.
20And it came to pass in the morning, when the meat offering was offered, that, behold, there came water by the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water.

There are songs, or parts of songs, or some words of a song, or all the words of a song or the voice of someone singing a song under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, or the particular playing of an instrument or instruments with singing or without singing that just stirs up the anointing of God within me.

It depends. Not everything has to fit with these kinds of songs for me. I may not care for some or all of the words. I may not care for some of the verses. Sometimes I may not even agree with some of the words or even understand some of the words.... but I know the sound of what my spirit wants to hear and I may find it (and have found it) in all kinds of places.....inside the church and outside the church.....yes even outside the church walls....out in the world.

This song is one of them.

I can listen to and worship along with songs like these over and over for hours...as long as it is still speaking and ministering strength to me...it keeps playing and by the time I drain it...I'm probably ready for another like it.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.... Raise up an army....Raise up an army.....like Joel saw"!!!!

Hail to the Son of David.

Hail to the King of Kings.

Hosanna in the Highest.

Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the LORD.

Thank God for all minstrels everywhere....wherever they may be...inside and outside the church.

The Lord knoweth them that are his. 2 Timothy 2:19 (King James Version)

Let EVERYTHING that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 150:6 (King James Version)

Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise. Psalm 106:47 (King James Version)

Out of the mouths of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength (perfected praise) because of thy because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. Psalm8:2 (King James Version)
